ABOUT US

Alpine Treasures Village Gift Shop, a retail gift shop, is an aspect of the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens (a 501(c)3 non-profit organization) that was established in 1986. Our gift shops offer a variety of local and nationally sourced items to inspire and delight every visitor. All proceeds go directly back to supporting the gardens.  Having a "for-profit" retail store allows a more sustainable method/ongoing funding source to collect money to help offset the Gardens' operating costs.

Betty Ford Alpine Gardens is actively involved in conserving and researching one of the most vulnerable ecosystems in the world - the Alpine Tundra. The Alpine Gardens are generally funded through memberships, individual donations, memorial, and tribute gifts, grants, corporate support and planned giving.

Join in our stewardship by donating today!

Tax-deductible contributions at any level are sincerely appreciated.

Education Center

A Botanical Garden is a place where a wide variety of plants are cultivated for scientific, educational, and ornamental purposes, often including a library, a herbarium, and a greenhouse. To fulfill the vision the Gardens, an education center was built in 2015, which is the centerpiece of all these components; a place to manage the gardens, a place to visit, to study, to learn, to promote, and to understand the importance of growing plants and the fragile alpine environment.

Don’t miss a visit to this beautiful building and visitor center. With the state of the art alpine house, self-guided informational exhibits on the alpine environment and the views from the rooftop deck this is a must for a visit to Ford Park.
